Our Story:
In 2013, we purchased a farm in Cedar Hill, Tennessee, which became our weekend getaway and quickly learned what country living was all about. As a family, we worked most weekends renovating the farmhouse, barns, and adding a new pole barn. We strive to be good stewards of the land and maintaining the farm in such a way to preserve the natural beauty and improve the 63 acres we call L&L Farm – named for our two daughters, Lauren and Lindy.
After hosting our oldest daughter’s wedding here in October 2016, we decided to share the unique outdoor spaces, gorgeous countryside, and lush scenery for the Big Events in your life! We’re ready to host and welcome you and every single person you love here for your special event. We can’t wait to meet you and hear your story and dreams for your “Big Day.”
Hi, I’m Allison
Serving you on the biggest day of your life is my why. I believe you should feel at home here at L&L Farm. I want you to feel the love and support as I love each and every love story. Side note: I cry at every wedding. I think its the music, but I love each and every celebration of marriage! I can’t wait to meet you and hear your story!
VENUE HISTORY:
Cedar Hills’ rolling hills, rustic farms, and winding backroads are rich in history. Historical papers and news articles document that the area surrounding L&L Farm was the site of Cheatham Camp—a military training camp during the Civil War. This was an ideal location due to the railroad and multiple natural springs that run through the property. One of the truly unique features of L&L Farm is the double culvert bridge that was built shortly after the Civil War. A copy of the original blueprint that engineers designed in 1889 is showcased and framed inside of the venue. The left side of the culvert was originally used as a road and Spring Creek (which our private drive is named after) runs through the right side. It truly is a gorgeous backdrop and perfect location for a wedding ceremony, special event, or photoshoot.
